When you wear Righteous Wretch gear you are wearing a statement to the world: I am wretched in Adam due to sin, but Righteous in Christ due to His work on the cross and saving grace. This directly connects us all with Romans 5. I encourage you to take time out of your day to read through that chapter and meditate on it in prayer.

You will get asked, “what does Righteous Wretch mean? What does it stand for?” As Peter says in 1 Peter 3:15 “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.”

Be prepared to give a reason for the hope that is within you: Our hope is in Jesus Christ alone and His finished work upon the cross applied to us by God’s grace through faith, upon us wretched sinners. We want the focus of our brand going forward to be directly tied to this Gospel message. It is meant to be an edifying reminder to us all.

When we put that Righteous Wretch logo on – we remember our calling to something greater than our petty selfish interests – which we are called to die to. We remember this simple biblical truth: we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, by Christ alone, according to the scriptures alone, to the glory of God alone.
