Our Message
"Wretch in this flesh - Made Righteous in Christ."
Righteous Wretch was started in 2015 by Bible College dropout (& now Barber) Paul "the Confessor" Van Tiem.
From the beginning and through much of RW's existence, the brand has produced a lot of shirts promoting various theologians, traditions, and preachers.
And while we still find much of what these men have written to be both helpful & biblical, we are back in 2025 with a more focused emphasis.
Paul no longer desires to use the platform to promote dead theologians (again, no shade on them), but rather to use the brand as a soapbox from which to declare the finished work of the Living Savior.
Some may see this distinction as a false dichotomy. But we do not seek to be divisive. And we may, from time to time, quote some of those old dead guys in our posts & podcasts.
But in an age of hero-worship, traditions of men, and faith in preachers, we want to be a brand that points you directly to the Source.
We seek, through the marriage of Biblical Themes & Solid Design, to propagate the Gospel of God's Free & Sovereign Grace - in, by, and through the Lord Jesus - ALONE.
